Quality Technician Details:
Contract to Hire position- $
25.00 / annually First Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to04:30pm )
- Perform quality control inspections on metal parts using various measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, CMM and gauges to ensure product conformity
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to resolve quality issues
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and work instructions
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and improve overall product quality
- Perform regular audits of production processes to identify areas for improvement
Quality Technician Qualifications:
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on quality engineering or technician experience in metal parts manufacturing
- Knowledge of quality control tools and techniques, including statistical process control (SPC), Six Sigma, and lean manufacturing
- Proficiency in using various measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Knowledge in CMM operation and programming – Not mandatory
- Experience with IATF 16949 and other relevant quality standards and regulations
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
