Construction Estimator Details:
Temporary position- $
30.00 to $ 35.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to03:30pm )
- Seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to support a commercial construction team on a temporary assignment
- Responsibilities include preparing cost estimates, completing quantity takeoffs, reviewing plans and specifications, evaluating subcontractor bids, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and assisting with budgeting and preconstruction activities
- The ideal candidate has estimating experience with a Commercial General Contractor and can effectively support active bidding and project planning efforts
Construction Estimator Qualifications:
- Commercial estimating experience with a General Contractor required
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, materials, and blueprint reading
- Proficient with estimating software and Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills
- Project management experience preferred
- Residential-only or specialty trade estimating experience not considered
- Experience with quantity takeoffs, bid preparation, cost estimating, budgeting, subcontractor/vendor coordination, and construction scheduling preferred
