1st Shift Swiss Lathe Set Up Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
25.00 to $ 35.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 06:00am to02:30pm )
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC Swiss Lathe machines to manufacture precision orthopedic components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
- Install tooling, make offsets, and adjust machine parameters to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, and gauges.
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain tight tolerances.
- Perform tool changes, routine maintenance, and basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
1st Shift Swiss Lathe Set Up Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of CNC Swiss Lathe machining and set-up experience required.
- CNC programming experience is highly preferred and eligible for increased pay.
- Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments and maintaining tight tolerances.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality parts.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced precision manufacturing environment.
