Painter - Powder Coating Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughThursday from 05:00am to03:30pm )
- Perform a variety of routine painting duties, painting, sand blasting, powder blast and preparation for enamel, epoxy, and latex painting.
- Prepare and paint a variety of surfaces including aluminum, ferrous metal, uncoated metal, plate, and other surfaces as specified; protect and prime surfaces as appropriate; apply finish coatings to requirements.
- Apply protective coatings to items.
- Correct work as directed, repair nicks, scratches, or other small imperfections in the finish.
- Measures area to be painted; determines quantity and type of paint to use for the project.
- Complies with chemical and waste storage and disposal regulations and best practices.
Painter - Powder Coating Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of stainless-steel procedure, ability to read drawings and ability to set up painting tools.
- Adherence to all quality systems procedures and policies
- Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
- Must have previous painting and/or manufacturing experience
- Perform a variety of painting related tasks for extended periods of time.
- Must have knowledge of how to operate basic painting tools.
- Bending, lifting, and pushing up to 50 pounds is required.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
