Set-Up Machinist
Setup Machinists (Levels III–IV) to join our Machine Shop team. This hands-on position involves independently setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes in a fast-paced, low-volume, high-mix manufacturing environment.

Set-Up Machinist Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
24.00 to $ 26.00 / hour Full Time work availableSecond Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 03:00pm to01:00am )
- Directly set up and operate CNC machining equipment, including loading tooling, selecting programs, and producing quality parts.
- Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate machining and production.
- Troubleshoot machining and equipment issues, perform routine maintenance, and make G-code modifications as needed.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments and maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
- Work independently in a manufacturing environment while supporting continuous improvement efforts, process optimization, and mentoring less-experienced machinists.
Set-Up Machinist Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with CNC setup, tooling selection, and machine operation.
- Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring equipment accurately.
- Experience with G-code programming and troubleshooting; Mastercam experience is a plus.
