Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
22.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 06:00am to04:30pm )
- Perform preventative and routine maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and conveyor systems.
- Diagnose equipment failures and complete repairs in a timely manner. Install, assemble, and align machinery and production equipment.
- Replace bearings, belts, motors, pumps, gearboxes, chains, and other mechanical components.
- Perform welding and fabrication as needed. Lubricate, adjust, and calibrate equipment.
- Assist with equipment upgrades and new machinery installations.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and repair documentation.
- Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures.
- Keep the maintenance shop and work areas clean and organized.
- Work closely with production teams to minimize equipment downtime.
Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Qualifications:
- 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and power transmission systems.
- Basic welding and fabrication experience preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to lift to 75 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
- Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
