3G Welder (FCAW/Dual Shield Preferred) – Competiti Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 06:00am to04:30pm )
- Perform MIG, Flux Core (FCAW), Stick (SMAW), or TIG welding based on project requirements.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, shop drawings, and welding symbols.
- Prepare materials by measuring, cutting, grinding, beveling, and fitting metal components.
- Assemble and tack-weld parts before final welding.
- Learn proper welding procedures and techniques under the guidance of experienced welders.
- Inspect welds for quality and make corrections as needed.
- Operate grinders, torches, saws, and other fabrication equipment.
- Assist with the fabrication and assembly of structural steel and metal products.
- Maintain welding equipment and keep work areas clean and organized.
3G Welder (FCAW/Dual Shield Preferred) – Competiti Qualifications:
- Ability to produce quality welds and pass a weld test.
- 3G welding certification is preferred but not required.
- Ability to read a tape measure and interpret basic blueprints.
- Willingness to learn advanced welding techniques and accept coaching.
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and reliable attendance.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Comfortable working in a fabrication shop.
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
