Purchasing Agent
Purchasing Agent role at healthy homebuilder in Irvine. Single family and multi family products. Will join a strong team. Must have residential purchasing experience, preferably with various trades. $125K - $150K DOE + bonus potential + strong benefits.

Purchasing Agent Details:
Direct Hire position- $
125,000.00 to $ 150,000.00 / annually First Shift ( Monday throughFriday )
- Prepare and send out request for proposal bid packages for both onsite and offsite trades
- Analyze, negotiate, and execute contracts for onsite and offsite construction
- Prepare Purchase Orders and cost sheets for job starts; generate all contracts
- Perform cost per square foot and budget comparisons
- Maintain project budget during construction
- Set up rebate schedule for each job
- Meet with client/owner at offsite locations for general contracting work.
- Monthly job cost meetings
- Value engineering, cost studies
- Contract document review and analysis
- Work with all trades
Purchasing Agent Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Previous homebuilding purchasing experience
- Experience purchasing single family and multifamily product types preferred
- Project development and purchasing experience in high end fast paced residential construction
- Contract negotiating, scope and specification writing
- Ability to successfully handle client/contractor relations and work with multiple deadlines.
- Proficient in Windows, Outlook, Excel and Word Special Experience
Desired:
- Budgeting and purchasing for all offsite improvements a plus
- JD Edwards experience a plus
