Geo Tech Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
30.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Tuesday throughFriday from 06:00am to04:00pm )
- Assist geologists with daily field, core shed, and general labor activities supporting exploration and mine geology programs.
- Safely operate a forklift and other approved equipment to move drill samples, pallets, supplies, and geological materials.
- Organize, label, inventory, and transport drill samples while maintaining proper sample tracking and chain-of-custody documentation. Prepare sample shipments to laboratories, including packaging samples, completing submission paperwork, and coordinating shipment pickup.
- Conduct routine drill-site inspections and communicate operational, housekeeping, or safety concerns to geology and drilling personnel.
- Assist with drill core or RC chip handling, and general drill-program support. Maintain clean and organized sample storage, work areas, vehicles, and equipment.
- Perform outdoor work in rugged terrain and varying weather conditions.
- Follow MSHA regulations, site procedures, and company safety standards at all times.
Geo Tech Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; mining, geology, or engineering experience preferred.
- Ability to work safely outdoors in varying weather conditions and on uneven terrain.
- Valid driver's license with the ability to obtain or maintain MSHA certification.
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
