We are looking for a skilled refrigeration technician for a local Indianapolis manufacturer. Prior food manufacturing in a plus!

Refrigeration Technician Details:

  • Temp-to-Hire position
  • $28.00 /hour
  • Full Time work available
  • Second Shift (06:00pm to 06:00am)
  • Assist in basic electrical repairs (<480V) under supervision
  • Participate in training on ammonia awareness, LOTO, confined space and other safety awareness programs.
  • Keep accurate logs and work safely per GMP, SQF, and OSHA standards.
  • Perform routine PMs and visual checks on plant utilities components.

Refrigeration Technician Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and interest in refrigeration systems.
  • Ability to obtain EPA 608 Universal Certification within 12 months (company-supported).
  • 1–2 years of general maintenance or industrial mechanical experience.
  • Basic electrical or HVAC coursework or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with CMMS systems or maintenance documentation.
  • Applicant may be subject to a background check
  • Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
