We are looking for a skilled refrigeration technician for a local Indianapolis manufacturer. Prior food manufacturing in a plus!

Refrigeration Technician Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
28.00 / hour Full Time work availableSecond Shift ( 06:00pm to06:00am )
- Assist in basic electrical repairs (<480V) under supervision
- Participate in training on ammonia awareness, LOTO, confined space and other safety awareness programs.
- Keep accurate logs and work safely per GMP, SQF, and OSHA standards.
- Perform routine PMs and visual checks on plant utilities components.
Refrigeration Technician Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and interest in refrigeration systems.
- Ability to obtain EPA 608 Universal Certification within 12 months (company-supported).
- 1–2 years of general maintenance or industrial mechanical experience.
- Basic electrical or HVAC coursework or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with CMMS systems or maintenance documentation.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
