A local Solar Electrical Contractor is looking for a Licensed Journeyman Electrician to join their growing team!

Lead Journeyman Electrician Details:
Direct Hire position- $
39.00 to $ 46.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
First Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 06:00am to06:00pm )
- Installation & Maintenance: solar electrical power, lighting, and control systems, including circuit breakers, transformers, and outlets.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose malfunctioning systems and components using testing devices like ammeters, voltmeters, and multimeters to identify hazards or defects.
- Blueprints & Schematics: Read and interpret to determine the layout of electrical installations.
- Code Compliance: Ensure all repairs and installations strictly adhere to NEC and local safety standards.
- Mentorship: Leadership at job site, and provide on-the-job training to apprentice electricians.
Lead Journeyman Electrician Qualifications:
- Licensing: A valid Oregon/California Journeyman Electrician license is Preferred.
- Previous Solar Experience a plus!
- Technical Knowledge: Deep familiarity with electrical theory, NEC standards, and various wiring methods.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, work in cramped spaces, and distinguish colors for wire identification.
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients and co-workers and provide cost estimates for repairs
- Leadership Skills: Strong communication, delegation, and problem-solving skills to foster a collaborative environment.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
