Maintenance Technician Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.00 to $ 28.00 / hour Full Time work availableSecond Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 02:00pm to10:30pm )
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and plumbing issues
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical components, motors, controls, and wiring
- Diagnose equipment failures and complete repairs to minimize downtime
- Service HVAC systems and other building maintenance needs
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Complete work orders and maintenance documentation using a computerized maintenance system (CMMS)
- Identify and report safety concerns while following all safety procedures
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests
- Operate hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and other maintenance machinery
- Assist with equipment installations, modifications, and continuous improvement projects
Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
- Previous industrial maintenance experience required
- Experience troubleshooting electrical systems, PLCs, and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
- Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC, and mechanical systems
- Ability to diagnose and repair production equipment efficiently
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in an industrial environment
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
