3rd Shift Slitter Operator Assistant Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
22.00 / hour Full Time work availableThird Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 10:00pm to06:00am )
- Assist with slitter machine setup, operation, and changeovers based on work orders
- Load steel coils, feed material through machines, and help align for accurate cuts
- Inspect materials for defects and report issues before and during production
- Remove, band, and move finished steel coils for shipment
- Support team with quality checks, safety practices, and general production tasks
3rd Shift Slitter Operator Assistant Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing, steel, or machine operator experience preferred but not required
- Ability to read work orders and use basic measuring tools (tape measure or gauges)
- Comfortable working around heavy machinery, steel coils, and industrial equipment
- Ability to lift, stand, bend, and work in a physically demanding environment
- Must be fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
