Experienced MIG Welder
We are seeking an Experienced Welder/Fabricator to produce steel pump skids for large pump units in a busy, non-climate-controlled shop. Pay based on experience, 3-4 week project that could lead to a long term assginment.

Experienced MIG Welder Details:
Temporary position- $
25.00 to $ 30.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday )
This role involves MIG welding, assembly, grinding, painting, and torch work, & general shop support. Ideal candidates are safety-minded, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in an industrial environment.
DUTIES:
- MIG welding of steel components for pump skid assemblies- Assembly of pump skids including layout, fitting, and bolting
- Grinding & surface prep using air and electric grinders- Painting and touch?up coating of fabricated components
- Torch cutting and basic thermal cutting operations
- Deburring, cleaning, and finishing of parts
- Operate forklifts (preferred) and overhead cranes for material handling
- Assist mechanics with dismantling pumps and general shop tasks
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Experienced MIG Welder Qualifications:
- 5+ years proven MIG welding experience (required)
- Ability to read basic shop drawings and follow instructions
- Experience using air grinders, electric grinders, cordless drills, hand taps, and similar tools
- Forklift experience strongly preferred
- Ability to operate or learn to operate an overhead crane
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to assist with pump teardown
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
- Must have own welding hood and gloves
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
