Sub-Arc Welder Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
25.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
First Shift ( Monday throughFriday )
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform submerged arc welding on structural steel beams, girders, and components
- Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and shop drawings
- Set up and operate Sub-Arc welding equipment safely and efficiently
- Inspect welds to ensure quality standards and specifications are met
- Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
Sub-Arc Welder Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- Previous Sub-Arc welding experience required
- Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
- Knowledge of structural steel fabrication processes preferred
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Willingness to work overtime as needed Work Environment Fabrication shop setting in Decatur, AL Physically active role requiring standing, lifting, and working with heavy materials
