Facilities Maintenance Assistant Details:
Temporary position- $
16.50 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift
- Assist maintenance technicians with the repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of production equipment and facility systems.
- Support machine setup, operational inspections, lubrication, parts replacement, and equipment adjustments.
- Perform housekeeping duties in maintenance and production areas to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Assist with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical maintenance activities.
- Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other industrial equipment as authorized and trained.
- Identify equipment issues and communicate potential failures before they impact production.
- Follow all company safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance records as required.
- Support emergency repairs and production downtime recovery efforts.
Facilities Maintenance Assistant Qualifications:
- Maintenance, mechanical, manufacturing, or machine operation experience.
- Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, conveyor, rotating, or automated equipment.
- Forklift and overhead crane experience. Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices.
- capable of working extended hours, overtime, weekends, and rotating shifts as business demands require.
