Industrial Painter Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
21.00 / hour Full Time work availableSecond Shift ( Monday throughThursday from 04:00pm to02:30am )
- Surface Preparation.
- Clean, sandblast, grind, or chemically treat surfaces prior to coating.
- Mask or plug holes, threads, and areas requiring no coating.
- Inspect materials for defects before coating Powder Application.
- Set up and operate powder coating spray guns, booths, and related equipment.
- Apply powder coating evenly to meet specified thickness and finish.
- Adjust equipment settings to optimize coverage and minimize waste.
- Load and unload parts onto racks, hooks, and conveyors.
- Curing and Finishing.
- Monitor oven temperatures, cure times, and material handling procedures.
- Remove finished products and inspect for color match, adhesion, thickness, and quality.
- Touch up or rework defective coatings as needed.
Industrial Painter Qualifications:
- 2+ years of industrial painting or powder coating experience required
- Ability to stand for 10-hour shift
- Ability to lift 50-75lbs
- Attendance is crucial for this position, so reliable transportation is a must
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
