Body Tech Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
17.00 to $ 18.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
- Repair vehicle body damage by fixing dents, replacing damaged panels, straightening frames, and restoring structural integrity after accidents.
- Prepare surfaces and apply finishes by sanding, priming, and assisting with painting to match the vehicle’s original appearance.
- Inspect and assess damage to determine repair methods, estimated time, and materials needed.
- Use specialized tools and equipment such as welding tools, hydraulic jacks, and frame alignment machines.
- Maintain safety and quality standards by following workplace guidelines and ensuring repairs meet industry and manufacturer specifications.
Body Tech Qualifications:
- Technical training or experience in auto body repair, automotive technology, or a related field (vocational school or on-the-job training).
- Knowledge of repair techniques and tools, including welding, frame straightening, sanding, and painting processes.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to accurately assess damage and restore vehicles to proper condition.
- Physical ability and stamina to lift heavy parts, stand for long periods, and work with hands-on equipment.
- Must have own tools
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
