Welding Quality Control Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
30.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 04:00am to02:30pm )
The QC Inspector is responsible for ensuring that steel fabrication and welding work meets contract drawings, customer specifications, and applicable codes. This role inspects materials, welds, and fabricated components to verify quality throughout the fabrication process. Responsibilities
1st shift hours 4:00am - 2:20pm $30-40 hr
• Inspect steel fabrication and welding to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and applicable AWS codes.
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings, welding symbols, and joint details.
• Use welding gauges and inspection tools to verify quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Document inspection results and maintain quality records.
• Ensure work performed in the shop follows company procedures and required standards.
Welding Quality Control Qualifications:
- Proven experience as quality inspector or welding relevant role
- A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach
- Responsible and trustworthy
- Familiarity with quality testing machines and systems
- Thorough knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies
- Certification of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9000 etc.)
- Working knowledge of MS Office
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
