Medical Biller Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
22.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
- Receiving and verifying payment information including EOBs and ERAs
- Preparing and submitting clean claims to various insurance companies and executing claim follow-up with insurance carriers until paid or resolved.
- Secure necessary medical documentation requested by insurance carriers, patients, and/or legal representation
- Identify and resolve patient billing complaints
- Preparing, reviewing, and sending patient statements
- Evaluating patient’s financial status and establishing budget payment plans
- Performing various collection actions including contacting patients by phone; correcting and resubmitting claims to third party payers
- Posting payments from insurance companies
Medical Biller Qualifications:
- 2 years of medical billing/AR experience in the urgent care/primary care setting
- Certification in billing and coding is a plus
- Proficient in medical billing/collection practice
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a departmental team
- The ability to resolve conflicts and possesses problem-solving skills
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
