We are hiring an experienced Brake Press Operator for 1st and 2nd shift openings. In this role, you will set up and operate brake press machines to bend and form metal parts according to blueprints and specifications. Candidates must have prior brake press experience, strong blueprint reading skills, and the ability to perform quality inspections using precision tools. Brake Press Operator Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.00 to $ 25.00 / hour Full Time work availableVarious shifts available ( Monday throughFriday )
- 1st shift: 5am to 3:30pm M-F
- 2nd shift: 12pm to 11:30pm M-F (11-hour shifts)
- Pay: Depends on experience. Usually $20-23/hr.
- Set up, program, and operate brake press machinery to bend, form, and shape metal per blueprints and specifications
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documents
- Perform quality inspections using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Troubleshoot machine or programming issues and resolve production problems
- Optimize production by reducing setup times and maintaining efficiency
- Maintain consistent quality standards across all parts
- Operate forklift equipment safely after training.
Brake Press Operator Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Brake Press Operator
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Experience using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, protractors, etc.)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment
- Commitment to safety and quality standards
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
