Mechanical Assembly Details:

  • Temp-to-Hire position
  • $18.00 to $25.00 /hour
  • Full Time work available
  • First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 04:00pm)
  • Assemble, install, and fit mechanical components for emergency vehicles including fire trucks, ambulances, and specialty units according to specifications and blueprints
  • Load parts onto production lines, package finished assemblies, and ensure accurate build flow through each stage of production
  • Inspect work for quality, troubleshoot issues, and stop production when safety or defect concerns arise
  • Document production activity including materials used, labor/time, defects, and required adjustments using electronic and manual systems
  • Perform basic mechanical adjustments and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Mechanical Assembly Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required 2+ years of automotive or electrical assembly experience required
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with understanding of manufacturing and safety standards
  • Experience in fast-paced production environments with attention to quality and detail
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform hands-on mechanical work throughout the shift
  • Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively in a team setting
  • Applicant may be subject to a background check
  • Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
