Stick Welders Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
17.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to05:00pm )
- Perform MIG welding to fabricate and assemble metal trusses for metal building construction
- Read and use measuring tools, including tape measures and rulers, to ensure accurate cuts and welds
- Operate welding equipment safely while maintaining quality and production standards
- Work in indoor and outdoor environments and assist with material handling as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and complete required welding and ruler tests prior to employment
Stick Welders Qualifications:
- Previous MIG welding experience required; experience welding metal trusses or structural steel preferred
- Ability to read a tape measure and pass a ruler/measuring test
- Must be able to pass a welding test using company-provided equipment
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and stand, bend, lift, and perform physical labor throughout the shift
- Must pass a drug screen (including THC) and background check; no theft or assault convictions allowed
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
