Machine Operator Details:
Temporary position- $
23.13 / hour Full Time work availableVarious shifts available
- This entry-level position is crucial to our production process, involving hands-on operation of machinery, quality inspection, and adherence to strict safety standards within a demanding industrial environment.
- Operate manufacturing machinery and equipment in accordance with established procedures.
- Perform visual quality inspections on products and materials, utilizing gauges to ensure specifications are met.
- Engage in basic preventative maintenance tasks for machinery and equipment.
- Effectively communicate with team members, supervisors, and other shifts regarding operational status, issues, and production goals.
- Apply problem-solving skills to address minor operational issues and production challenges.
- Physical Demands:*** * Must possess hearing ability and visual acuity (with corrective lenses as needed) to safely operate machinery and perform detailed inspections.
- Qualifications Education:** High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.* **Experience:** 0-1 years of experience of machine operating experience.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on visual quality inspection.
- Basic understanding of gauges. * Familiarity with grinders.
Machine Operator Qualifications:
- Ability to frequently lift and move materials and products weighing up to 70 pounds independently.* Capability to stand, bend, twist, push, pull, climb stairs/ladders, stoop, crouch, and reach at or below shoulder level throughout an 12-hour shift.* Requires gross and fine manipulation with hands.
