IT Engineer Level II Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.00 to $ 30.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
The right candidate must be able to take new equipment out of the box, configure it from scratch, install it, and put it into production. We need someone with hands-on configuration experience—not someone whose experience is limited to managing equipment after another technician has completed the setup.
- Design, configure, install, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi environments
- Configure and deploy servers, routers, switches, firewalls, wireless devices, and other network equipment
- Set up and troubleshoot communications between computers, networks, switches, printers, and wireless resources
- Configure network users, directories, permissions, and security attributes
- Maintain and secure network infrastructure
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Test and evaluate new hardware and software
- Maintain technical documentation and network administration procedures
- Work directly with customers and end users to resolve technical needs
IT Engineer Level II Qualifications:
- 2+ years of hands-on networking and IT infrastructure experience
- Recent experience configuring servers and networking equipment
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments
- Experience with firewalls, switches, routers, LAN/WAN, and wireless networking
- Ability to independently diagnose and resolve complex technical problems
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems or a related field preferred; equivalent education, training, and hands-on experience may be considered.
