Preventative Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a detail-oriented entry-level Preventative Maintenance Technician to support equipment maintenance and inspections. This role offers hands-on training with experienced technicians, providing an opportunity to build skills in industrial maintenance while helping maintain safe and efficient operations.

Preventative Maintenance Technician Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.00 / hour Full Time work availableSecond Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 03:00pm to11:00pm )
- Operate a forklift daily to complete tasks
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment
- Monitor coolant levels; maintain coolant and washer logs
- Check and maintain oil and lubrication; monitor performance, gauges, and filters
- Perform basic cleaning duties, including trash removal
- Follow all safety and quality procedures
- Complete required computer tasks
- Communicate effectively in English in a fast-paced environment
- Gain hands-on experience in industrial maintenance and develop technical skills
Preventative Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
- HS Diploma/GED Required
- Strong interest in industrial maintenance, mechanical systems, or manufacturing operations
- Ability to safely operate or willingness to learn to operate a forklift (certification a plus)
- Basic mechanical aptitude with the ability to use hand and power tools
- Ability to read gauges, logs, and basic equipment indicators (pressure, oil levels, coolant levels, etc.)
- Basic computer skills for completing maintenance logs and required system entries
- Comfortable performing physical work, including lifting, standing, bending, and walking for extended periods
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
