Forklift Operator Details:
Temporary position- $
17.00 / hour Full Time work availableSecond Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 01:30pm to10:00pm )
- Operate stand-up forklifts and cherry pickers safely and efficiently to load, unload, move, stack, and retrieve materials and products.
- Utilize RF scanners to accurately track inventory, complete orders, and maintain precise warehouse records for receiving, put-away, picking, and shipping operations.
- Perform daily pre-operation and post-operation checks on forklifts and other equipment, reporting any maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
- Organize and maintain the warehouse floor for optimal space utilization, cleanliness, and accessibility, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed to support overall operational efficiency.
Forklift Operator Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator, with previous certification in forklift operation.
- Must have 6 months of Cherry Picker or High Reach Forklift, and have operated within the last 6 months.
- Must be able to able continuously lift 40 pounds, bend, and stand for 8+ hours per day.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written, for safety reasons.
- Candidates must be willing and able to commute to the worksite in Wilkes barre, PA for each scheduled shift and have their own reliable transportation.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
