Machine Operator Details:
Direct Hire position- $
20.00 to $ 27.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift
Key Responsibilities:*** Operate and maintain production machinery with a focus on maximizing output and product quality.* Perform machine setup, adjustments, and product verification to ensure accuracy and compliance for each job.* Conduct regular quality assurance inspections throughout each production run, identifying and resolving any issues promptly.* Monitor machine performance and production parameters to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.* Assist in the training and development of new team members, particularly new gluers, fostering a collaborative work environment.* Uphold all safety standards and perform regular housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.* Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to enhanced processes and customer satisfaction.* Perform basic data analysis related to production and quality metrics as required.
Machine Operator Qualifications:
**Qualifications:*** **Experience:** Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably within the packaging and printing industry.* **Technical Skills:** Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and strong technical knowledge of machinery operation and maintenance.* **Physical Requirements:** Ability to consistently lift 15-20 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds when required.* **Dexterity:** Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for precise machine operation and product handling.* **Core Competencies:** Proven experience as a Machine Operator, with proficiency in Packaging processes, Quality Assurance, Quality Inspector duties, and basic Data Analysis.**Preferred Qualifications:*** Prior experience operating Printing Press machinery.**Additional Requirements:*** Successful completion of a Background Check is required.* Successful completion of a Drug Screen is required.
