Elwood Staffing is looking for a qualified Press Brake Operator with experience to work in a shop environment for a local fabrication shop in Fort Collins.

Press Brake Operator Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
25.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to03:30pm )
- Operate and set up press brake machines to form and bend sheet metal parts accurately
- Perform operations on other sheet metal machinery including laser, shearing, and rolling equipment as required to complete manufactured parts
- Demonstrate competence in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and work orders to perform accurate sheet metal layouts
- Inspect and deburr finished parts to ensure quality standards are met and prepare them for subsequent production stages or departments
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe personal workstation, as well as contribute to the overall cleanliness and organization of the Sheet Metal department
- Conduct routine quality checks on produced parts using measurement tools (e.g., calipers, protractors) to ensure adherence to specifications
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
Press Brake Operator Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Press Machine Operator, specifically with Brake Press operations
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Prior experience in general metal fabrication.
- Must be able to perform the following physical demands: Stand for extended periods throughout the shift, frequent bending, stooping, and reaching
- Adherence to strict safety protocols is essential.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
