Metal Finishing Technician Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
17.50 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughThursday from 06:00am to04:30pm )
- Prepare and clean metal parts for galvanizing and powder coating
- Grind, sand, and detail metal surfaces before and after coating
- Load, unload, hang, dip, cool, and move metal products throughout production
- Inspect finished parts for quality and coating defects
- Use basic hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following PPE requirements
- Work as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
- Learn multiple areas of production with opportunities to build new skills on the job
Metal Finishing Technician Qualifications:
- No prior experience required - willing to train motivated candidates
- Familiarity with hand tools, manufacturing, or metal shops is a plus
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods
- Comfortable working in changing temperatures
- Strong attention to detail Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to lift, move, and handle metal parts safely
- Team-oriented with good communication skills
- Ability to learn quickly and follow instructions
- Comfortable working in a physically active environment
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
