Manual Machinist Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
19.00 to $ 24.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to04:00pm )
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
- Set up and operate manual mills, lathes, and presses
- Machine parts to client specifications for oilfield and various industrial applications
- Use precision measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers, measuring accurately to .001
- Verify dimensions, adjust tooling, and ensure parts meet quality standards
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments
Manual Machinist Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience operating manual mills and lathes
- Ability to use precision measurement tools and take accurate measurements
- Strong math skills, especially with fractions, decimals, and measurements
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently
- Reliable, safety?focused, and quality?driven
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
