Material Handler Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
19.00 to $ 21.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
Various shifts available
- 1st Shift - 6am - 4:30pm
- 2nd Shift - 6pm - 4:30am
- Work four 10-hour shifts Sunday-Wednesday, Wednesday – Saturday, or Friday – Monday.
- Overtime may be required in addition to the days listed.
- Manually load, unload, stack, and move freight, regularly lifting items up to 50 pounds repetitively, and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance or appropriate equipment.
- Operate manual material handling equipment, including hand trucks and pallet jacks.
- Utilize powered industrial equipment such as forklifts to transport cargo within the warehouse, with certification provided after hire.
- Receive incoming shipments, verifying contents against shipping documents and accurately noting any damage, discrepancies, or missing items.
- Sort, organize, and properly store materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Operate RF scanners for inventory tracking and management.
Material Handler Qualifications:
- Ability to frequently crouch, bend, stoop, reach, and lift heavy items.
- Must be able to stand and walk significant distances for the entire 10-hour shift.
- Must be able to consistently lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds repetitively throughout shift.
- Must be able to work in an indoor non-climate control environment
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
