Mechanical Assembler II Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
24.00 to $ 26.00 / hour Full Time work availableVarious shifts available ( Monday throughFriday )
- Perform mechanical assembly of power boxes and power lockers ranging from 4 to 10 feet in size
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and build sheets to ensure accurate and efficient assembly
- Operate hand and power tools safely to complete assembly tasks to specification
- Run and install components as required, ensuring proper fit, alignment, and function
- Follow detailed written and verbal instructions to meet production and quality standards
- Inspect completed assemblies to verify accuracy and compliance with specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues during the assembly process
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work environment while meeting production goals
Mechanical Assembler II Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in mechanical assembly or a related manufacturing/industrial environment
- Ability to read and accurately interpret blueprints, schematics, and build sheets Proficient in safely operating hand and power tools used in assembly processes
- Strong mechanical aptitude with attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds frequently throughout an 8-hour shift and perform physical tasks
- Strong communication skills with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions consistently
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
