We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Temporary Auto Technician to join our team at a busy auto dealership. This role offers a clear path to permanent employment for individuals who demonstrate excellent attendance and work performance. The Auto Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by diagnosing and resolving vehicle performance and functionality issues.

Auto Technician Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
28.00 to $ 38.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
First Shift ( Monday throughSaturday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
- Schedule may vary based on clients needs
- Engage with service advisors to understand vehicle performance history and customer reported issues
- Perform comprehensive inspections of mechanical and electronic components to accurately diagnose malfunctions
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to pinpoint the root cause of vehicle performance and functionality problems
- Discuss findings, potential resolutions, and recommended repairs with service advisors
- Generate accurate estimates and timelines for necessary repairs and maintenance services
- Maintain all shop equipment in good working order and ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Help customers resolve issues with vehicle performance and functionality
Auto Technician Qualifications:
- Proven experience and strong understanding of automotive mechanics and systems
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose complex vehicle issues with precision
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with service advisors and team members
- Physical capacity to perform job duties including prolonged standing, bending, and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to maintaining a high level of attendance and demonstrating strong work performance
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
