Scrap Auditor
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Temporary Scrap Auditor for a crucial 6-month project at AAM in the North Vernon area.

Scrap Auditor Details:
Temporary position- $
20.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
Various shifts available
- Perform thorough audits and inspections of scrap materials to ensure accuracy, compliance, & proper segregation.
- Accurately record & document scrap data using alphanumeric data entry into designated systems.
- Operate a forklift safely to move, organize, & transport scrap materials as required (training will be provided if necessary).
- Collaborate with production & inventory teams to identify & resolve any discrepancies or issues related to scrap material.
- Maintain a clean, organized, & safe work environment in accordance with company policies & safety protocols.
- Adhere to all company guidelines regarding material handling, safety, & operational procedures.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to scrap management processes.
Scrap Auditor Qualifications:
- Proficiency in speaking, reading, & writing English is essential for effective communication & documentation.
- Basic computer skills, including accurate alphanumeric data entry.
- Possession of a valid Driver's License.
- Previous forklift experience or a willingness & ability to learn & obtain forklift certification.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends (up to 7 days a week), to support production requirements.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, & organizational skills.
- Prior experience in inventory control, auditing, or a manufacturing environment.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
