1st Shift Swiss Lathe Set Up Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
25.00 to $ 35.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 06:00am to02:30pm )
- Perform full set-ups on CNC Swiss lathes
- Load programs, make tool changes, offsets, and adjustments
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Utilize precision measuring tools
- Conduct first article inspections and in-process quality checks
- Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary corrections
- Maintain tight tolerances required for orthopedic components
- Work closely with engineering and quality teams to ensure compliance
- Keep machines running efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
1st Shift Swiss Lathe Set Up Qualifications:
- 3+ years of recent CNC Swiss lathe set-up experience
- Experience in orthopedic or medical device manufacturing strongly preferred
- Ability to read blueprints
- Strong knowledge of precision measuring equipment
- Proven ability to hold tight tolerances
- Programming experience is a PLUS (but not required)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
