Welder Lv. 1 Details:
Temporary position- $
22.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift
- Fit and weld structural and non?pressurized metal assemblies using MIG and Flux Core techniques.
- Prepare weld seams and interpret engineering drawings to correctly lay out fabricated parts.
- Use air and hand tools to complete fabrication tasks and ensure weldments meet quality standards.
- Perform plasma and torch cutting as needed for component preparation.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow required PPE and work-order procedures.
Welder Lv. 1 Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Vocational or Trade School training preferred.
- 1–2 years of welding experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Must have the ability to be respirator certified (PAPR system use).
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret weld symbols accurately.
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, and work in confined spaces
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
