Quality Control Inspector - Welding Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
25.00 to $ 28.00 / hour Full Time work availableVarious shifts available ( Monday throughFriday )
The QC Inspector is responsible for ensuring that steel fabrication and welding work meets contract drawings, customer specifications, and applicable codes. This role inspects materials, welds, and fabricated components to verify quality throughout the fabrication process.
Responsibilities
• Inspect steel fabrication and welding to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and applicable AWS codes.
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings, welding symbols, and joint details.
• Use welding gauges and inspection tools to verify quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Document inspection results and maintain quality records.
• Ensure work performed in the shop follows company procedures and required standards.
Quality Control Inspector - Welding Qualifications:
Shift hours:
- 1st- 4:00am - 2:30pm / 2nd- 3:00pm - 2:30am
- Must interview with client
- Must have 2 or more years experience in QC
- Must be detail oriented
- Must be able to work overtime as needed
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
