Industrial Painter Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
21.00 to $ 24.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
Various shifts available ( Sunday throughSaturday from 06:00am to06:00pm )
- Responsible for the surface preparation and paint operations in support of fabricating wind turbine towers.
- Equipment and processes include wash equipment, blast hose disbursing metal grit, metallizing equipment.
- Setup blasting. metalizing and paint equipment by setting parameters and making adjustments
- Utilize wash, blast metalize and paint equipment and tooling to prep and paint the internal and external surface of a tower section
Industrial Painter Qualifications:
- 1 year work experience in heavy fabrication industry, surface prep and/or paint industry, construction or other related field
- Must be able to read and interpret production drawings and technical work instructions
- Standing and or walking for periods up to 3 hours
- Frequent lifting of up to 40 pounds from floor to shoulder height
- Use of hand tools weighing up to 15 pounds
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
