Metal Building Detailer Designer Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
17.00 to $ 18.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
- Design and detail metal building structures using company software and AutoCAD
- Work within MBS (metal building software) to configure project details
- Interpret and apply basic geometry and math concepts to designs
- Create accurate layouts and visual representations of building systems
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project accuracy
Metal Building Detailer Designer Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or drafting software
- Strong math and geometry skills (pre-employment math test required)
- Comfortable working on a computer for extended periods
- Ability to visualize designs and final structures
- Detail-oriented with a strong willingness to learn
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
Preferred (But Not Required)
- Background in construction, mechanical work, or use of tools
- Experience in drafting, design, or related fields
- Handyman or building-related experience
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
