Sandblaster Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.00 to $ 23.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
Various shifts available ( Sunday throughSaturday from 06:00am to06:00pm )
- Operate specialized equipment to prepare metal products for painting, coating, or repair
- Use abrasive blasting equipment to clean and prepare surfaces of metal parts, including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications, visually checking for smoothness, proper texture, and the complete removal of scale, rust, and other materials
- Perform activities of position outlined in production work instructions and process specifications
Sandblaster Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate will have experience in a metal fabrication or industrial manufacturing setting and a solid understanding of surface preparation techniques, safety protocols, and quality standards
- This physically demanding role requires a high degree of precision, a strong commitment to safety, and a good understanding of various abrasive media
- Must be able to wear a respirator or fresh air supply hood
- Must be able to read and interpret production drawings and technical work instructions
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
