Sandblaster Details:
Temporary position- $
20.00 to $ 23.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
Various shifts available ( Sunday throughSaturday from 06:00pm to06:00am )
- Responsible for surface preparation and pain operations in support of fabricating wind turbine towers
- Equipment and processes include wash equipment similar to hand car wash, blast hose disbursing metal grit, metallizing equipment similar to welding torch ad two part paint system
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment by following all safety protocols and performing routine housekeeping and workplace organization
- Setup blasting. metalizing and paint equipment by setting parameters and making adjustments.
Sandblaster Qualifications:
- 1 year work experience in heavy fabrication industry, surface prep and/or paint industry, construction or other related field.
- Must be able to read and interpret production drawings and technical work instructions
- Standing and or walking for periods up to 3 hours
- Frequent lifting of up to 40 pounds from floor to shoulder height
- Use of hand tools weighing up to 15 pounds
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
