Assembly Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.00 to $ 23.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
Various shifts available ( Sunday throughSaturday from 06:00am to06:00pm )
- Responsible for assembly of all internal parts into finished tower sections in support of fabricating wind turbine towers
- Equipment and processes include pneumatic hand tools, small hand tools for the assembly and installation of platforms, ladders and lighting fixtures
- Assemble components according to instructions, drawings and quality requirements
- Operate material handling equipment, fork trucks, bogies, etc.
Assembly Qualifications:
- 1 year experience in heavy fabrication, assembly, construction and other related fields
- Must be able to read and interpret production drawings and technical work instructions
- Must be able to work in frequent awkward positions working at ground level and overhead inside tubes
- Frequent lifting and carrying of up to 40 pounds
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
