Concrete Carpenter Details:
Temporary position- $
30.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift
Build, set, and strip concrete forms for commercial construction projects Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and construction drawings Install formwork, embeds, and reinforcing materials Pour, spread, and finish concrete to specifications Measure and cut lumber and other materials for form construction Maintain a safe and clean work environment Work outdoors in varying weather conditions Use hand and power tools safely and effectively Perform heavy lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
Concrete Carpenter Qualifications:
- Knowledge of commercial mechanical concrete layout, layout set and tie rebar, layout assist in placement of said materials
- 2+ Years of experience is preferred
- Ability to perform strenuous tasks with your hands
- Ability to physically stand, kneel, bend, squat and lift materials up to 50-75 lbs consistently for entire shift
- Ability to measure accurately and read specifications
- Must be comfortable climbing up tall ladders
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Able to work independently or as an active member of a team
- Must have transportation to and from work site
- Candidates must provide own tools of the trade
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
