Public Works, Street Sweeper Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
17.00 to $ 21.00 / hour Full Time and Part Time work available- Weekend work required
First Shift ( Monday throughSaturday from 07:30am to05:30pm )
- Operate street sweeping vehicles to clean city streets, curbs, parking lots, and public areas.
- Inspect, maintain, and perform basic servicing of sweeping equipment (fueling, fluids, minor adjustments) Identify and report roadway hazards, debris, or maintenance issues
- Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating equipment
- Maintain accurate logs of routes, work performed, and equipment usage Assist with leaf collection, storm cleanup, or other public works duties as needed
- Use of hand tools
Public Works, Street Sweeper Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent, Valid driver’s license (CDL required).
- Ability to operate heavy or specialized equipment safely
- Strong attention to detail and safety
- Ability to work early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed
- Lift 50-75lbs, stand, sit for long-periods
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
