Traveling Installer
Are you tired of looking at the same 4 walls? Are you Mechanically inclined and like to travel? This position may be right for you. If you are near an airport, this is the job for you!
What's in it for you?
This position is for the people who like to travel for their jobs! The right candidates will be away for 4-5 weeks at a time. Once home, the associate will have 1 week off before leaving for the next assignment. $18.00/hour+ depending on experience. Weekly pay.
Traveling Installer Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
Various shifts available
- Paid Weekly Overtime and Weekends are required
- $30.00 Per Diem, paid in cash
- All airfare and hotel reward points accrued can be kept by the employee
- Medical, Dental and Vision Coverage options are available.
- Assembly. installation, start-up, and troubleshooting of electro-mechanical material handling equipment and machines.
- Ability to run conduit and make wire pulls.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical and programming problems.
- Possess a good mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to operate various hand and power tools.
- Familiarity with types of equipment produced by client company(IE. centering device and chain transfer.)
- Operate fork truck and overhead crane or hoist.
- Prepares and maintains paperwork as required including timesheets and expense reports.
- Ability to travel on a frequent basis from customers job site to job site.
- Meets acceptable time/work standards.
- Keeps immediate work area clean and orderly.
- Prior installation and assembly experience is a plus.
Traveling Installer Qualifications:
- Strong industrial, mechanical and/or electrical knowledge.
- Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16th of an inch.
- Ability to safely lift and carry 70-100 pounds.
- Ability to understand basic mechanical and electrical schematic drawings.
- Good written & oral communication skills.
- Ability to interface well with customers and vendors.
- Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced, stressful environment
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
