Electronic/Mechanical Assembler
Elwood staffing is looking for an Electromechanical Assembler that would be responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting electromechanical components and systems according to engineering specifications and quality standards.

Electronic/Mechanical Assembler Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 06:00am to02:30pm )
Your responsibilities will include:
- Perform assembly of electro-mechanical and opto-mechanical systems.
- Rework assemblies both electrically and mechanically when needed.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions to assemble electromechanical components, such as motors, sensors, actuators, and electronic circuits.
- Performing mechanical assembly tasks, including mounting, fastening, soldering, crimping, and wiring, with precision and attention to detail.
- Testing assembled components and systems using specialized tools and equipment to ensure functionality, performance, and compliance with specifications.
- Identifying and resolving assembly issues, defects, and discrepancies through troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques.
Electronic/Mechanical Assembler Qualifications:
- Must have longevity at previous employers
- Able to lift 40 pounds
- Proven experience in electromechanical assembly, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments with precision.
- Familiarity with electrical components, wiring techniques, and soldering methods.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation like blueprints.
- Excellent attention to detail, manual dexterity, and hand-eye coordination.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
