Fleet Mechanic Details:

• Direct Hire position
• $33,280.00 to $60,000.00 /annually
• First Shift

• Basic knowledge of repairing or replacing all structural, body and mechanical parts of a heavy-duty diesel truck.
• Must be proficient with brakes, drivelines, and mechanical engine components on tractors.
• Strong electrical experience with the ability to diagnose and repair all electrical systems
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance, ability to identify major components and repairing or replacing mechanical parts of a trailer.
• Help our customers keep their vehicles in shape and on the road.
• Making sure vehicles are maintained and safe for our customers.
• Willing to work in non-climate-controlled conditions
• Will be required to travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance of customer owned Fleet equipment
• Must maintain service vehicle in a clean and professional manner.
• Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment.
• Use technology (laptops and tablets) comfortably.
• Maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety customer equipment while using a high degree of independent judgment
• Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner.
• Be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements.
• Required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit.
• The technician is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms.
• The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg.
