Facility Maintenance Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
15.00 to $ 17.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
- Repairs and perform preventive maintenance including; plumbing fixtures and pipes such as toilets, sinks, drains, valves, and controls.
- Repairs windows, doors, door frames, locks and mailboxes.
- Maintain power equipment in working condition, such as snow blowers, power mowers, hedge clippers, and equipment used in maintenance force.
- Inspects apartments for maintenance work to be done.
- Perform regular preventative maintenance and repairs for buildings, fixtures, and property.
- Uses a wide range of hand and power tools and equipment such as drills, hammers, pliers, and electrical testers.
- Performs several groundskeeping tasks: trimming, mowing, and planting.
Facility Maintenance Qualifications:
- Valid Drivers License
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and perform a wide range of building and grounds maintenance.
- Working knowledge of and skills in plumbing, electricity, heating, carpentry, painting, and mechanical equipment.
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
- Ability to lift heavy objects into and out of trucks or other carriers.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
