CNC Set-Up Techs needed in Jackson, MI on 1st and 2nd shift. The company is looking for salary requirements.

Secondary operations include broaching, hobbing, drilling and grinding. Their products are used in the Military, Locomotive, Agriculture and Trucking industry.

Set Up Technician Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
16.00 / hour Full Time work availableVarious shifts available ( Monday throughFriday )
- 1st shift 7:00am-3:30pm
- 2nd Shift 3:30pm-12:00am
- Set up Technician for CNC, VMC and/or Lathe Machining Centers.
- Performs initial machine set ups on CNC, VMC and/or Lathe machining centers for drilling, milling and boring operations to produce parts to blueprint specifications.
- Inspects first run and sample part/s to ensure machining conforms to specifications.
- Perform tool changes and make adjustments on CNC Machining Centers.
Set Up Technician Qualifications:
- 1 year or more of set up CNC machines preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints, routings, and charts.
- Able to lift 50lbs when needed. Prolong standing, walking, bending, and reaching for 8hrs.
- HS Diploma/GED Required.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
