Our client began business in 1995 and is currently located across the street from the GR Airport in Kentwood, MI. This company is a hot tub manufacturer that offers several different departments/positions. Some of these positions are grouped into general labor/ assembly roles while other positions focus on shipping/receiving, plumbing, quality, wood shop, and cnc manufacturing of the hot tub shells. Assembler Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
16.80 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 05:30am to04:30pm )
- Use of drills, staple guns, wrenches, and saws.
- Assembling and fabricating materials.-Reading work orders to mark and assemble hot tub materials correctly.
- Loading, unloading, and operating thermoform machine.
- Spraying foam insulation.
- Working with a variety of materials including plastics, wood, and foam.
- Wiring Components.
- Connecting and installing plumbing.
- Inspecting and repairing product.
- Packaging, labeling, and prepping for shipping.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Assembler Qualifications:
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance.
- Ability to work in a team environment and have a willingness to help others.
- Looking for candidates with previous assembly, home remodel, or construction experience and reliable work history.
- Ability to learn with the ‘hands-on’ approach and use hand and power tools.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, twist, and move in a repetitive motion during shift.
- Required to lift and carry up to 50lbs on a semi-regular basis.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
